Team 395 New York City Regional Thanks and Congratulations

I think I'll start with the congratulations.

Congratulations to:
  • Wayne Penn on his well-earned Woody Flowers Finalist Award. Congratulations bro, you definitely deserved it and have been deserving of the award for the past couple of years. Now you have both a UFH and a WFFA. Way to go!
  • Teams 348, 375, and 637 on their finalist awards. 348: I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with a few of your student members and mentors. You are a great team and it's too bad that you didn't get the chance to qualify for Championships, but I'll hopefully be seeing you in the off-season. 375: You make me proud to be an alumnus. Beautiful machine this year, glad I was able to see it run in person, and congratulations on all of your Engineering awards this year. 637: Great job on playing smart and being a solid contributor on this top-notch alliance.
  • Teams 41, 555, and 1989: Congratulations to New Jersey on taking the NYC Regional ^_^. You guys put together a great alliance, with your ton of experience shining through. Great job on a well-earned championship, and I hope to see all of you guys in Atlanta. It was great playing against you in the semifinals.
  • Team 694 on their Engineering Inspiration award. Great job guys! I'm proud of you, and after hearing the judges description of your team, I can easily say that you guys definitely deserved it.
  • Epsilon Delta, team 116 on their Regional Chairman's award. Again, after hearing the judges description....I was in shock and awe; great job and congratulations!
And now, on to my thanks:
  • Division by Zero, team 229: You guys are as always a top notch team. It was great working with you guys, and we put together a great alliance. It's too bad we won't be seeing you guys in Atlanta, but I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the future. Talking to your drive team during eliminations was amazing, the whole crew was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. That time between matches sure did fly by.
  • Mechanical Marauders, team 271: Another fantastic team to work with. After we were picked by 229, and selections went on, we kept on crossing teams off our list as they were picked. We could not believe that you guys were still around, and snatched you up instantly. You were an integral part of the alliance and played to your best; we couldn't have asked for any more for you.
229 and 271, we put up a great show in the eliminations, and played the number one alliance very closely....I would like to thank you both, for drafting us and joining our alliance, for playing with us, and for putting up your best fight. I salute you both.

Now the only question that remains, is what do we call our alliance?
  • Division by Zero
  • 2TrainRobotics
  • The Mechanical Marauders
Ideas?
  • Zero Mechanical Trains
  • Mechanical Train Division
  • Mechanical Train by Zero
Thanks to everyone for an amazing weekend,
Signing off,
Dandon
