I was expecting them to keep the fields far apart to minimize interference.

OR are they still only going to run one match at a time, just with four fields...
I suspect they will be running 2 matches simultaneously while queueing for the other two fields. The announcer may be announcing two fields at the same time....

One match at a time with 4 fields sounds much too inefficient for me.

I originally expected 2 matches at a time. However I also was expecting that the fields would be spread out some more...

The 2 announcer thing worked surprisingly well in NYC from what I saw. Trust me, you have some quality announcers They'll make it work.

Anyone else think they should have named the fields Edison and Tesla? Then they could play AC/DC's Back in Black like a dozen times

Re: FTC World Championships

Wouldn't 4 matches at a time be more efficent and 2 matches while queing sounds right too but it's big enough to do 4 matches, why wouldn't they do that?

You'd be running 4 matches which takes about 3-4 minutes, followed by at least 3-4 minutes downtime while you're switching between matches. Alternating fields, during the 3-4 minutes that 2 matches are running, the other two fields are doing reset. Same throughput (total number of matches run per hour), but there's some action going on nearly continuously. You're not stuck watching reset.

Very true, Ok so 2 fields running at the same side and the fields are located on the map where a vinci is right?
