COM Port data reading without dashboard

I'm currently at home and can't get to my demo board so I can use dashboard to read data from a serial port for testing some things, is there any program or anything that will give me similar outputs as dashboard straight through the serial port? I have a flight throttle that I want to toy with and see what kind of data I can get off of it.
