Q&A: U != L

Engineer on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central High School and Delphi Automotive Systems. Or do we have to cut an aluminum tube in half? Answer: I think perhaps we should have included U channel on the list, but we didn't. At this point, I think many teams have put in too much time building with the kit we have to add this now, especially when teams can cut a box section in half or bolt two angles together in order to achieve much the same effect. So... Bottom line, U channel does not qualify as Tube, Angle or Box. Joe J. |
