The funny thing is that two years ago in 2006 I was the ONLY girl on our team. (Boy was THAT interesting)
But this year almost half our team is comprised of females and the change is wonderful. Girls on the team range in all kinds of interests. Some do photography, some do communications and safety, but most of them are involved in SOME aspect of the robot. In fact our entire electrical section this year was done by ONLY girls. Talk about Girl POWER!! (Hahaha very punny!!) I can't imagine things being any differently and as a senior and the last original girl member of the team I couldn't be happier to see these changes. ![]() |
