Want to Keep the Robot?
Posted by Michael Martus.   [PICTURE: SAME | NEW | HELP]
Coach on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central H.S. and Delphi Automotives Systems. Posted on 11/8/2000 7:34 PM MST Want to keep the robot to show it off to the schoolboard, press, or corporate? I don't mean forever. Lets say a few weeks while you show off your creation. Have it back to us before the First week in January. If you want to do this there are three simple rules: 1. Give us a deposit of $500.00, I will hold the check until the robot is returned. Then return the un-cashed check. 2. Return the robot disassembled. This means all the NO-MOD parts packed in the crates as I gave them to you. 3. Keep to the return date of before the 1st week in Jan. 2001. Otherwise you will be leaving your Robot, kit of parts, crates, controls with us to inventory. You will be billed for missing NO-MOD parts or damaged NO-MOD Parts. Think it over and be prepared at check-in to make a decision as to if you will be doing this. If you are from out of town it is your responsibility for shipping charges to the school. |

Want to sell some robot pieces?
Posted by Vince Wilczynski.
Engineer on team #124, Whalers, from New London / Montville/ Williams School and Notheast Utilities / US Coast Guard Academy. I think we'd like to hold on to the device a bit longer. Any chance you could come up with a parts-price-list to buy the individual parts that we used? I know that makes a few kits 'uncomplete' but it also opens up a potential revenue stream for the CDI..... You just get so attached to these little buggers..... |
