You couldn't have hit the nail on the head any better. The bots Looking Forward mentioned are great, no doubt, but theres always the teams that have flown under the radar the entire year. I like the fields, but can't agree totally on Galileo or even Archimedes taking it all. I'd love to see it come from Newton or even Curie this year

I take these predictions as fun and good insight. Obviously no one can predict the future and things always occur that surprise people, especially in FIRST, especially at the championship. However, the bots that are mentioned here are all going to play a major role in the 2008 galileo tale.

I hope you don't mind, but i don't think that 1114 will refuse a #1 seeded offer. They wanna win...i dun think that they wanna be captain when they can win for sure.

They've done it before. The team they declined beat them in semis. That's just the way it's played here.

The team they declined was then beaten by the champions.

Quite possibly a growing pain, or a lessoned learned?

I know many teams play with the possibility from year to year "If we are in that position, will we turn an alliance down". It's a tough call for anyone out there to make.

Dunno, but that particular team was declined by the team that beat them. So it could be either.
