Re: That's annoying.
People who do drugs for no reason that they can say themselves, other than "why not."
"Why not?" which of course is generally followed by a verbal eruption. |

To comment on Kids on cell phones, of course its not a good thing to be doing either talking or texting, but adults, it is very dangerous for you as well to be talking on your cell phones while behind the wheel, regardless of the reason. |

Re: That's annoying.
Here is a new one: People riding on motorcycles while texting. Saw a guy doing this the other day while going 60 mph without a helmet. To make it worse, he had a passenger.

It's even worse if they're texting their passenger.

Re: That's annoying.
Bicycles. Sorry, I know many of you ride them...but they really annoy me. I know it is safety cautious to have a blinking light, but to have 5 of them is excessive and annoying. Not to mention when they expect you to pass in the country. Yes, I follow them slowly in the country for a distance. They usually want you to pass when they are on the top of the hill and you can't see if someone is coming. Sorry, but I don't trust your judgement, I need to see nobody is coming for myself.
I don't know if this applies to everywhere. I know alot of people bike and don't do these things. However, these are just a few things about bikes that annoy me. |

What annoys me about bikes is how few riders follow the law at night. Taillight (at least in CA) is not required, but headlight use is. Guess how many use a headlight? (Yeah, and the typical wrong-way riders.) |

Re: That's annoying.
People in cars who treat cyclists as if they don't have a right to the road.
Quote:
Now, on the whole passing thing: most cyclists I've talked to only do this as a courtesy to the drive because they're under the impression that the drive wants to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. If you don't pass them, they usually don't mind, as long as you're not tailgating them. I myself never signal that it's safe to pass because I don't want that liability, and the driver probably doesn't either... |

Does a motorcycle count as half a car?
