Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
Thanks for all the great work this season, Looking Forward team. It made the season a whole lot more exciting with your expert analysis.
Will you be doing looking backs for Atlanta? I'd be interested in an IRI prediction too... though our team uses IRI to figure out new drive teams... so... we usually don't do so hot at IRI. Thanks again, -q |

Well I know some teams/services already use nice quality cameras (MorqTV, TBATV, etc) but if we could get some local PBS' involved throughout the country, it'd help. Also, you really don't have to spend too much these days to get really good quality equipment. One last thing is a universal file-format would make it a heck of a lot easier to keep track of. |

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
How about taking one more step (look) forward and turning it into a web page with photos and team spotlights. the insights and research that go into the predictions are awesome and could really benefit from some added color (literally and figuratively) to the presentation.
I was an avid reader and will continue to do so! Thank you for sharing with the community! This could develop into a FIRST magazine! |

Why not just make the Looking Forward franchise into an addendum of The Blue Alliance website? It already has pictures of robots, the match results from previous regionals, and all the name recognition. I don't know if it could be worked out with the admin's of TBA and the person/ squad behind LF, but I would think it could boost both TBA and LF. -Greg |

I feel like that wouldn't be an issue.

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
Are you trying to say the admins on TBA and the LF squad are one in the same!?!?!?!
(that took me a really long time to find some underlying meaning to that sentence lol.) |

I would like to see Looking Forward have its own forum (like carnack does.)

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
I think that the looking forward posts were great. They were interesting and entertaining to read. Thank you very much for taking the time to study, watch, and follow every team and their progress and posting it here on delphi. I am looking forward to what next year may bring, and I can't wait. As always, I am ready for more FIRST.
P.S. Thanks for mentioning our team several times! ![]() |

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
on the ESPN idea, i would rather see a Discovery Canada type setting, but with a panel of respected people giving "honest analysis" as it says in LF"s user title. i wouldn't be surprised is SOAP or someone else (111 with Midwest...) could pull something like this off
but thats for another thread in my opinion... |

Re: 2009 Season Looking Forward
I agree! Some sort of video review of each week would be awesome! I would be willing to help with the editing process as well! I would love to have the video resources to put together a top 10 plays of the week!
If many people were willing to help out, Looking Foreward could become not only a very popular read, but a very popular watch as well! |
