This is a great thing to provide as it can help teams write better letters to potential sponsors and dignitaries as well as just learn how to write better through example. (I'm obviously talking about the UFH examples and tools)

Its good to see any program that gives kudos to the mentors. Although we enjoy helping the kids, I feel that we should never miss the opportunity to say thanks to the leaders, mentors, and volunteers. The Unsung Hero program is just another way to say "Thanks".

I love hearing the stories of inspirational FIRSTers and how they have impacted their community and ours. I'm glad this award is back.
This small article mentions that 50 submissions are on file, what about the essays written while the award was given out? I am happy to rewrite one that I wrote a couple years ago if needed.
