Weird Thoughts

I get really random ideas from time to time and (to be quite honest) it makes some people question my sanity from time to time. But anyways, I thought it might be fun to post my odd thoughts on CD and see what you think of them. I will be posting them one at a time as they come to me.
My first thought:

If there was a dance off between the Munchkins and the Oompa Loompas, who would win? I think I would have to go with the Oompa Loompas just because they have a wider range of dance moves.

On a side weird thought: What would Simon from American Idol say if he were to see the dance off? What kind of insults would he have?

I hope you enjoy reading my random thoughts. Any feedback is welcome whether it is calling me crazy or answering a question. This is just another one of those random threads that you can post just about anything.

Re: Weird Thoughts

Which Oompa Loompas are we talking about here? The ones from the original movie with Gene Wilder, or the new (one person cloned) Oompa Loompas from the one with Jonny Depp?

Speaking of Oompa Loompas, I heard this line in a great movie one time.
"Don't you find it disturbing that the Oompa Loompas never wore hair nets?"

Re: Weird Thoughts

Huh. That is odd. The Oompa Loompas from the new version would win, but the Lollipop Guild from the Wizard of Oz movie could probably give them a run for their money. Simon wouldn't have anything to say; we would understand. If you watched the new version of Willy Wonka, there are many disturbing things that happen, not wearing hair nets doesn't even come close to the worst on my list. I didn't really enjoy the new version.
Molten, I'll be very interested to see what other random junk comes out of your head.

Re: Weird Thoughts

Okay, this is a series of weird thoughts.
I was just working when I saw a guy with a Notre Dame hat on. I immediately thought of the building in France and that the mascot of the football team was the Fighting Irish. There must be some connection between that building and Ireland. I set out on a set of tangent thoughts to figure out the connection. Now, I was also thinking of the Hunchback guy from the movies. I wonder how he would be at football? What about if he was Irish? Could you see him in a Leprechauns outfit running down the field?(Sorry if that is rude or stereotypical. Again, I got that from the Notre Dame mascot.) I certainly can picture it in my head and boy is it a funny image.

No hump, that's where the football was. He was slow, but sneaky.

Re: Weird Thoughts

Ok, I know its been a while since I've posted here but this had to be said.

What if whole cities were temperature controlled? What would happen to the plants? Would animals suddenly flock to the city? What temperature would it be? Maybe the mayor controlled the dial. That could be a platform in the future. I vow to raise the temperature 5 degrees. Could that get someone elected?

I know this is a long stream of thoughts/questions, but that is the way they came to me. I have a clue on some of the things. My thoughts of massive temperature control would involve circulation of large amounts of air into the upper atmosphere for cooling or deep underground for heating. Not sure how to power it, maybe thunderstorms? Oh well, I hope someone finds these tangents somewhat amusing, I'm done...Until my mind wonders again.
