The thread is legit (or is very good as seeming so), it may have accidentally been created a few times though. Its a cool competition otherwise once you look into it.

As I reported in another thread, I am sure it was just accidental creation of multiple posts. Dr. Osemwengie is the assistant principal and robotics coach at Columbus Alternative High School. The contest idea itself if pretty interesting. Since CAHS is in our neck of the woods, we are planning on attending their new off-season competition and trying this robot redesign competition out as well. It seems like a great fall activity to lead into the build season.

On a side note, the picture at the top of the website has SparX's and X-Cats's robot in it
 ! This idea seems really interesting. I am excited to see what happens. |
