Go for a dell vostro. I spent 800 dollars on mine.

2gb ram, 1.6 ghz processor, Nvidia 5400 GS(I don't remember that well anymore

).

The motherboard fried on my first one but they replaced it for free, no trouble at all.

there are some good deals right now.
