Re: Building self balancing scooter- troubles with Integrating Gyro
Im using the 16F877a Pic controller and using 8 bit adc. i hooked the gyro to an lcd screen for it to display the reading when its not moving and that reading was 123 so thats the offset i subtract. I found when i used 10 bit for adc the value that i was reading when the gyro wasn't moving was jumping around quite a bit...+/- 2 numbers and when i used 8 bits it was pretty solid.
