Bumpy road ahead...........

So I think we're going to have an all-terrian field this year.. or at least some bumps in the floor to make for something different.......

And hey--- who thinks we should bring back the old naming system of the competition.. Ramp 'n Roll.. Toriod Terror.. Double Trouble... I like those..

I loved the names that helped identify the game. As you look back over the years, it makes it easier to remember the games. But names like Double Trouble and Cooperwhatever do not really help identify the game. Names like Ramp'n Roll tell the story well.

I wish I had the inside edge...

What I do have is pictures of the 'Death by Engineering' signs hanging around in FIRST and the stern glance of Mark T if I ever dared try to peek :-P

But we'll seeeeee... I'm thinking a little but of some of the other years' competitions to make a nice blend of the 10th year...

But if the floor is bumpy.. i vote for 'Mogul(mogal? sp?) Madness'

Does that mean that we'll have insane Asian rulers running around? So I've had a long day, sue me.

Wellllll...

I have been up on the 3rd floor of FIRST within the past 6 months.. Y'know.. Where they design the problem each year..

Too bad that was near end of summer so there wasn't anything good there.. But it was cool to see some of the random stuff they almost used and then just didn't.. And I did take a look behind the black tarp with 'DO NOT ENTER' spray painted on it.. But nothing new.. Just old dusty stuff..

You mean to say that Double Trouble and Co-Opertition didn't sit well in your stomach at all?? If they've got another name like that for this year and bumpy terrain for the field, we're all gonna be hurtin by the end of competition..

Bump N' Grind... The field not only has Colleen's pre-requisite bumps, but it also has a skate park look with lots of safety rails... maybe you could roll balls down them or something... Like Bust a Move...

Lump N' Bump (i'm on a roll the and => N' transformation... i'm also easily amused)

Lump N' Bump again has the prerequisite bumps on the field, but this time the goal structure has some of those bumpers from pinball machines... you know the accelerating ones... (kate do they have a name? i asked Jeeve's but he's clueless)
anyways, hitting the goal the wrong way (or the right way depending on your strategy) results in balls getting shot out of the goal...
