FIRST Kickoff - Choosing the Correct Motor
Posted by Michael Ciavaglia at 1/3/2001 8:20 AM EST
Engineer on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central High School and Delphi Interior Systems. This is an open invitation. I will be giving a presentation at the kickoff this weekend about how to choose the correct motor for the specific job. I gave this at the CDI - Institute in November. I am sure this will help everyone to understand the tradeoffs and importance of choosing the correct motor. The only problem is... The FIRST Website does not list this workshop. However, Dr. Joe is giving a programming workshop on Friday from 9:00 - 11:45 A.M. on the 2nd floor of the FIRST Building. I will be attending this and should know the details by then. Please stop by to find them out. Dr. Joe and I will be at the Delphi Rookie Workshop on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. on the 4th floor of the First Building. If there is enough interest we might be able to break into a few groups and go through condensed versions of the presentations. If you are attending and think this would be helpful, please look for the workshop. I have heard of an email informing teams of the change, but have not seen said email. If you aren't attending, let your team representative know and have them look for workshop. Good Luck to all in 2001 The Competition !!! Mike C. |
