10% extra score, by lotto.

The extra score for the team color thats on top of the goal should be determined by random order after
the game ends. This way its a crap shoot and the luck of the draw.
One team may put a blue ball up on top of the goal for the extra group team points but the red team might get the 10% from the random drawing, this would be the fairest way to do it.

You know, these big balls are kind of hard to pick up. And teams are going to have a lot of work/fun designing to pick up the big balls and put it up consistently. The way this games is formed, the teams are going to form a strategy right before the game start. So, I won't be surprise that they will figure out who needed the extra 10% the most and help that team out. But also, they are going to give it to who ever deserve it the most.

Does it necessarily go to the team who 'deserves' it the most? If a team clamps both chutes, take them to the player station, fills them with balls, and after 2 large balls are held up, holds them on the chutes while balancing on the ramp. (long scenario) Who deserves the 10%, the people who put large balls up, of the team who held them there while balancing on the ramp?

It is the team with the part that can get big balls who control what ball to take... I mean, seriously when they are set to grab their own ball, there is nothing good you can do about it. Any act of stoping them from getting that ball will be less points for you. So, hopefully the teams will work that out, but if not, then there are going to be bad relation between teams... and that's against the way of the game in many ways.

I'm really lost as to why this is an issue... this year's game is about cooperation to the max... the anti-battlebots... the purpose of the 10% is to reward the teams that design that ability in... plain and simple..

if you think of the 10% as a priority (hint: we do) then you'll want bigball handing to be key... maybe you choose to be a team player and work to help everyone by balancing the goals or whatever, but then your skill will be noticed, recognized and you'll be picked by the big ball teams which will be the higher seeds probably...

Thats great if your the team getting the extra !0% but what if another three teams also have the ability to place large balls and they too need the !0%, then they are going to fight for that extra score.
What if Im not able to lift a ball for the 10% but Im the one to get the goal up on the ramp for your extra points, and those extra points that you get make you a seed and my team 1 point short from being a seed.

Again, any kind of fighting for scores will be likely to result no scores from big balls. Basically this will demand more bonding between teams to work it out, and any wrong way to do it will hurt the score a lot, especially when the robots are fighting to get the ball up there. This is when you really test out the cooperation between teams and their willingness to build up a good reputation and of course a nice robot. And any nice reputation will get you a position in the finals as the teams are picking alliances.
