National Division List Availability??
Posted by aTm at 1/7/2001 9:15 PM EST
Student on team #111, Wildstang, from Wheeling High School and Motorola. Any idea when the lists of the teams in each division at nationals would be made puclicly available?? I can't wait to see who's where, or even how they make the divisions. Randomly? Geographical? Experience? I am also failing to locate a list of teams that will be attending each particular regional. I eagerly await to see who will be joining the PERHAPS sparse gathering of teams that choose Midwest over Great Lakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! aTm |

At nationals...

Engineer on team #190, Gompei, from Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science and WPI. In Reply to: National Division List Availability?? Posted by aTm on 1/7/2001 9:15 PM EST: According to Eric (no quotes though) Since teams are not definite/confirmed until they show up.. it's likely that FIRST won't generate the list until then (so as to not have 71 teams in a division.. 80 in another and so forth) Also-- it's their intention to keep it "random"... it won't be regionalized...or by experience for that matter from what was said.. |
