Posted by Travis Covington on 1/8/2001 12:40 AM EST: Many people have done the calculation. But let's look at it one more time. I believe that several scoring factors are what's causing the different number. So, let's start with the multipliers: x4 for balancing two goal on the bridge, x3 for under 30 seconds, and x1.1 for you own big ball on top (qualifying rounds) Since we are talking about Max score, we will assume all there robots are in the end zone with a stretcher - 50pts, then the two big ball with 20 pts. Then the as for the smaller balls, we will think of a range from 10 balls to 14 balls- 10 ~14 pts Qualifing rounds: (50+20+20~28) x4x3x1.1 = 90~98*(13.2) = 1188~1293.6 pts Elimination rounds: (50+20+20~28) x4x3 = 90~98*12 =1080~1176 pts |
