No Teams in the Dayton, Ohio area?

I'm from Kokomo, IN and Purdue University and was on both the TechnoKats and Boiler Precision Guessworks, but I also have a co-op in Dayton, Ohio and have been looking for a team to mentor while I'm working. However, I'm rather surprised and disturbed there are no teams in the Dayton area. It is such a technologically rich area. Not only is there a good amount of fabrication industry, but there is the Air Force Research Laboratory (where I work). There are so many engineers there that can be mentors. However, I do not have the knowledge, money or time to start a team. I'm just surprised that nobody has started a team there yet.

Re: No Teams in the Dayton, Ohio area?

All it takes is a few phone calls and a NASA grant to get something started.

From looking at the Mentor Search database. Conor Ryan in Dayton, OH is also looking to mentor a team. If you want to contact him, register through the website a click contact under his name.

If you have trouble registering, just PM me and I can contact him for you.
