Go to Post Hello... I need one order of Thunderchicken, extra crispy. Yes, I would like fries with that. OK... go ahead and super-size it. What, only $2.17!? Sweet. - Andy Baker [more]

Does anybody know if ANY part of our robot is allowed to go over the top of the player station during a match?

David,
Last years rules stated that the robot could not cross over the protective screen of the alliance station, nor could the human player cross over into the field (if he/she could reach that far).

This year, I have not seen a rule specifically stating that a robot could not cross the top of the station, but rules S4 and S5 of Appendix A: Rules say that the human player cannot cross into the field, and the robot cannot reach up the ball chute. I'd assume the robot could not reach over the station, but to get it cleared up, I'd submit the question to FIRST's Forum. Hope that helps!

Only the part that wants to sit in on the chess game the human players will be playing to pass the time and boredom till the end of the game.
