A couple of others thought that they multiplied. I have looked for a clarification for this in the rules and have not been able to locate one. Is the maximum multiplier 7 (2+2+3) or 12 (2x2x3)? I am looking for hard evidence here!

The way that I read it, as it is described in the manual, is that for both goals it is a 4x multiplier, and then the x3 for the timer...so, while this is not the official word, I would say that the max would be 12x...as long as you don't include the 1.1x...
