Rah Cha Cha Ruckus custom Vex/FTC Game vs. VEX Robotics 2008 Game

*This thread is not intended to putdown the newly designed VEX game*

Which game would you be willing to play more at the Rah Cha Cha Ruckus in Rochester, NY on November 1st?

This thread will be used to see if we will host a competition with the VEX designed game or a custom designed game.

VEX Game Vs. Ruckus Game

Thanks.

The specific detailed drawings for the Ruckus designed game are still in progress.

Re: Rah Cha Cha Ruckus custom Vex/FTC Game vs. VEX Robotics 2008 Game

Not to put down your game, but the VEX game provides a whole new challenge. Now, not only can we not just bunch these together, because they're cubes and they don't necessarily roll, but we also have a game in which technique and strategy are necessary.

I like the Ra Cha Cha Cha thing, but I think the VRC challenge is just too sweet to pass up. .

Yeah, we just have to see what game will get the most interest, the thread was not to show off one game more then the other. the point of the thread was to use it as a tool to see which game we would choose to play.

Not to make things more confusing but you are more than welcome to use the Savage Soccer game we are working on.

Re: Rah Cha Cha Ruckus custom Vex/FTC Game vs. VEX Robotics 2008 Game

Visual Edge offers 2 easy to set up games currently. It comes with everything to run a tournament.

VEX wouldn't get ticked if you don't use their game, as far as I know, they still welcome the "grassroots" types of games and leagues.

I am currently talking to the people of VEX to see what we can do. Stay tuned for updates. Thank you for the polling.

The vex game, if for no other reason, so that the event can also serve as a scrimmage for those doing VRC.
