Go to Post Look at the success of the Banebot's gearboxes this year. Cheap, light, small, and a lot of people are using them, even though their quality may be a bit questionable... Make a similar gearbox for a drivetrain (with a bit more robustness) and I think you've got a winner. - Ben Piecuch [more]

Re: Google Introduces Browser Called Chrome

I have it, and I've used it a few times so far. Cool stuff... I kind of feel geeky though having IE, Firefox, and Chrome all next to eachother on my desktop...

It is a very efficient browser though, very clean in design. Cool!

Re: Google Introduces Browser Called Chrome

Ive played with it. Still has a way to go before I would ever switch from FF especially with the new FF JS engine being worked on. Im not sure I like the privacy idea of google building up a huge database of everything I do. Just seems creepy.

Your not the only one... mine are all in the quick launch.

Your right it is clean and I like the quickness but miss being able to customize it like Firefox... currently my default browser ... needs a java plugin. Couple chat rooms will not load up in it. Wish I understood how these thing work better... it frustrating waiting for others to make new things.

Re: Google Introduces Browser Called Chrome

I just tried out Chrome and I'm probably not going to use it again. I hate how it's set up. The tab position is terrible and the lack of an efficient toolbar makes me want to cry. If they come out with skins that allow me to change it around I may use it more, but for now Firefox will remain my one and only browser I use.

I have to agree... it is a nice clean design but needs a toolbar and is too bright for my liking. Firefox using Pitch Dark theme will remain my #1 browser... I think I'll leave the chrome on the quick launch right next to IE.... hope nobody thinks I'm a computer nerd with three browsers.
