2009 Buckeye Regional

The Buckeye Regional will be held February 26-28, 2009 in Cleveland, OH.

So who's considering the event this year?

In an unusual twist, Buckeye will be a Week 1 event. I was wondering how this and the Michigan Pilot might affect registration for this regional.

The only Michigan district in Week 1 seems to be in Traverse City, MI, which is in the northern part of the LP. Just wondering if any southern Michigan teams are thinking of Buckeye as a tuneup?

Regardless, here's hoping for a fun, competitive, and well-attended regional!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm currently teamless, and I found out that there used to be a team in the same city I live in now, but unfortunately they had broken up. If I don't get in with the team at Tri-C, looks like I'll just be volunteering this year, which I already applied for.

Either way, I'll show up to the event one way or another.

Team 1676 is committed to the NJ regional, also 1st week. We had a great time 2 years ago at Buckeye - great venue, easy ride from NJ (except for Pennsylvania ) and good competition.

Team 2603 will be there. It was awesome last year, and this year we'll (hopefully) know more of what's going on.

Oh man... The Buckeye & the Midwest both week one.... thats not nice.
Sure will be interesting , they both good regionals!
Tough choice for teams to make.
Sadly I guess me and the Robo-Brats will be glued to our monitors watching the big boys play from our clubhouse (with our new big window).

279's officially moved outta michigan into ohio [3 mile difference ftw] so we'll be at Buckeye. First week is gonna be bad for us though cuz we took the 4 ish weeks between ship and GLR to train the freshies in scouting lol.

Yeah, I'm kind of mad at first week, also. That means I won't have as much time to work on our cart.

unfortunately our mentors all work late and usually at different places daily and our meeting place is a Dana business center and being such, it hosts many meetings in the same room we are partitioned into. Plus 451 is at the same place [we moved in with them when we moved from michigan]. i'm attempting to make a new scouting program to make things easier for us. it's not going well. =)
