[RCU]: NH, VT, MA and RI: Northeastern Girls Collaborative Kick-off

Are you from NH, VT, MA or RI, and are you working to get more girls involved with science, engineering, technology and math?

The Northeastern Girls Collaborative Project will be hosting a Kick-off event on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the University of New Hampshire, located in Manchester, NH.

GOAL: To create a strong network of organizations and individuals that are committed to informing and motivating girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

WHO: Girl-serving organizations, professional organizations, businesses, higher education, K-12 teachers and after school programs from NH, VT, MA and RI

WHEN: Saturday, November 8, 2008, from 9:30 AM to 3 PM

WHERE: The University of New Hampshire, Manchester campus
400 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH 03101

COST: $10 (lunch will be provided)

WHAT: Help us kick-off the Northeastern Girls Collaborative Project with a day of networking:
Share information about your project or organization,
Discuss barriers to serving girls in STEM,
and Learn about Mini-grant opportunities
