Twilight Star
FIRST Robotics Invitational Mini-Regional Competition

Who: Any teams from the upper mid-west or beyond

What: FIRST Robotics Competitions based upon the Overdrive game from 2008.

When: Saturday, November 15 from 10am – 6pm
Friday, November 14 from 6:30 – 10:30pm: Robot Load-in/ Pit construction & Mini-
Team Social. Teams are asked to bring snacks to share. 2220 will provide beverages.

Where: Eagan High School – Student Commons. 4185 Braddock Trail, Eagan MN 55123

Cost: $100 entrance fee/team. 50% discount for any veteran team who brings a rookie team
along to shadow them. No entrance fee for rookie team. 2220 will provide food &
beverages on Saturday as part of the entrance fee.
Maximum of 24 teams
Registration deadline will be Friday, November 7

Why: To encourage continued learning and growth for veteran teams in preparation for the
2009 season. To support rookie teams as they prepare for their first season.


Tentative Schedule of Events

Friday, November 14
6:30 – 8:00pm: Robot load-in and Pit construction
8:00 – 10:30pm: Mini-Team Social.

Saturday, November 15
8:00am: Pits Open. Field available for practice competition
8:30 – 9:30am: Rookie Mentor workshops
9:30am: Drivers meeting on field
10:00am: Preliminary Rounds Begin
6:00pm End of Compeitions
6:15pm Awards
6:30 – 7:30pm Clean-up and Load-out.
