As I understand it, you simply have to be off the field. For the purpose of the game this year, the wall is considered off the field. So if you pick yourself up using the wall then you get the points (if you choose to use this strategy then you may want to have the relevant parts of the rulebook ready in case you have to argue with the referees). I'm not sure if this means that you can simply vault the wall and get the points this way. I'm pretty sure if you vault the wall you would not be allowed to get/put your robot back in play.
