is it really just 2 min?

Other on team #166, Team Merrimack, from Merrimack High School and Texas Instruments/R.S. Machines. I noticed in update #4 that they mentioned alliances will only have 2 min to discuss strategy but in the past you received alist of times/matches that your team would be in by 9am..............while you didn't know your alliance, you knew all 4 robots that were entered in that match. This year since all 4 teams form the alliance won't teams be able to plan from the minute that schedule is posted or do we have to wait to be called and not know the match your in until they call..........doesn't sound right either.......what did I miss? At kickoff they stated that they would give a list that had groups of teams (probably about 16) that would have to show up at the field at a certain time. Then, you'll be paired with 3 other teams from that group of 16. So you'll know within a subset of the total which teams your competing with but not the actual teams. Matt |
