[FTC]: Scoring!!

So just wondering...does anyone know the volume of the triangular goal?
how many pucks can fit in it??

Thanks Team 25

Re: [FTC]: Scoring!!

Some basic geometry should tell you this easily. What is the volume of a triangular prism?

As for how many pucks will fit, that will depend on how carefully packed they are. Perhaps you will have to do some experiments, randomly dumping pucks into the goal and see how they fall.

Re: [FTC]: Scoring!!

Remember, simply finding the volume of the prism and then dividing it by the volume of the pucks will not give you you the right answer. The pucks will never take up every inch of space when they are dropped in.

Use the calculation as a rough estimate, but expect it to be MUCH lower.
