What kind of robots are people building?

Posted by CArobot at 1/17/2001 7:33 PM EST

Other on team #619, CArobot, from Charlottesville Albemarle.

Post as short a description of your robot's capabilities as possible, seperating your capabilities with a slash and listing your location. Leave all the text from this message so that a long list of robot types will follow, which should give everyone an idea of who they might be paired with. If your robot is bizarre add a description to the key not in the middle of the list. Key Follows:
Bulldozer-pushes towers onto the bridge
Forklift- carries towers onto the bridge
Gatekeeper- raises and lowers the bridge
Squatter- sits in the end zone
Medic- moves stretcher
Truck- Pulls tower onto bridge
Gimp- sits lifeless wherever it is dropped
Shaq- Puts many black balls in the goal
Crane- Puts big balls on the top of a standing goal
Bucket Truck- Puts big balls on the side of goals that
have been tipped over
Wrecker- knocks over the goal

List Start
Wrecker/Forklift/Gatekeeper - Charlottesville Va

From the Research Labs at WPI comes the blending of the best features from a sampling of the animal kingdom.
The Mountain Goat with its ability to climb unsteady surfaces and scruffy attitude.
The Spider with its go anywhere capability and unparalleled versatility.
(and of course, who could forget)
The Hampster who's cute demeanor hides its awesome hopping power.

The result can only be described as terrifying.
