[OCCRA]: Material Question
We were wondering if the use of lead block is allowed as a weight for our robot. We're trying to find a heavy counterweight with small size, which lead us the idea of a lead. Please let us know if lead is an permissible material.

Re: [OCCRA]: Material Question
We would classify lead as a dangerous material. Recent studies have shown that increased exposure to lead by skin contact is causing an increase in health risk.
That is why "Lead Free" solder is widely used and even electronics solder is now lead free. So the answer is....... NO. Use some steel rods or such...mass is close to lead. |
