Labview 8.5.1 Install with VISTA

Has anyone had any problems installing Labview 8.5.1 on an VISTA operating system? I even contacted NI and there kinda stumped. It seems the activation code they provide can not be excepted by the program.

You can try Right Clicking the program and click Run As Administrator. Sometimes this is necessary for some programs to register and activate correctly.

I installed on Vista Home Premium (or something like that) an didn't have any trouble. Works pretty nicely actually.

Phil.

Re: Labview 8.5.1 Install with VISTA

I just installed it on Vista Ultimate x64, and didn't have any issues.

It would probably be easier to help if you gave more information. Which of the items listed in the activation screen are you trying to activate? What error message(s) are you getting?

Make sure the licence file has the extention .lic and not .txt
