I can't believe that November is almost here!!!!
I am sooo excited to be MCing at Riot again!!! Ramp Riot is ALWAYS full of spirit and it's just fantasic. And, I know this year... I can see it now... spirit will be CRAZY-AWESOME!!!!! wahoooo!!!!!!

We are very glad that you are MCing again this year. We have a great mix of MCs and play-by-play announcers for you to work with too. So hopefully that will make it even more fun for you.

This document contains all of the essential information that you need to compete at Ramp Riot. Please review this document carefully, paying close attention to safety, procedures, schedules, practice times, event times and special seminars.

We encourage you to share this document with everyone on your team. (student, parent or mentor) Well informed competitors will make this a better event.

If you still have questions after reading this packet, please feel free to contact me via PM.

To all Teams:
We are still in need of volunteers for Ramp Riot 2008 next week.
Any help from mature students, college mentors or adults familiar with FRC, are welcome. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

We need help in the following areas:
* Queuing Teams
* Assistant Referees
* Match Score Keepers
* Field Re-setters
* Robot Traffic Monitors
* “Girls in Gear” Tour Guides for Girl Scout Groups
(Girls from participating FRC & FTC Teams)

Each volunteer will receive a Ramp Riot T-shirt, morning and afternoon food service in our VIP lounge, as well as the appreciation of 36 dedicated FIRST teams.
If you wish to volunteer, please reply to 341forum@gmail.com. We will reply with your assignment, an event info pack, and our sincere appreciation.

Thanks very much for helping with Ramp Riot 2008.

Im pretty sure you bring your own robot somehow. You can't ship your robot there. Last year, we put everything in the back of a trailer in the freezing cold, and drove it there from our school.

Unfortunately 1676 will be unable to make it this year, due to other school commitments and people being unable to come (due to those school commitments), or having to leave early. We hope to attend next year! Best of luck to all teams competing!

Are you still accepting media? Because we have a few good photo's we would love to have in your video. Btw, thats a great idea. Get the attention of everyone before the competition starts.
I have one question too. Will you guys have a screen where the scores of the matches are posted? you did last year, but the stat screen was too blurry to read.
