Frozen NXT Brick.

Our team (3039) is competing in the FTC. We are continually frustrated by our NXT brick freezing. Is there any fix beyond removing the batteries? This seems so barbaric.
Thanks!

Re: Frozen NXT Brick.

have you try re-download the firmware i have never played with them in the FTC system but at my summer job a lego nxt camp we had to re-download firm ware sometimes

i think some time it help to take the batteries out then try to turn it on this might wipe the flash memory so you can start fresh

but i'm not that good with this "electronic-y" stuff, i like gears and roller chain not electronics

Re: Frozen NXT Brick.

As soon as we got ours we had a fresh reload of firmware and they seem to be running perfectly. Anyone in your area who can just lend you another? Luckily we have stacks of these babies...wish shipping rates were cheaper otherwise I'd send one over tonight. =/ Let us know if the fresh firmware helps.

Here is how to reload firmware btw.
