You know, I'm finding that more and more teams seem to want to "attempt" to "crawl" under that bar as to save time transit time to the endzone. Hmmm...well, I don't exactly have a REAL estimate as to how many teams will do it efficiently, but all I can say is that you may be surprised at who tries it.

what sort of teams might be trying? how would you describe them? eccentric? out-there? psychotic? strange? wouldnt-touch-with-a-ten-foot-pole?

: Hi all, here is the question of the week. This one is given by request. If you have any suggestions for further questions e-mail me, skrach42@aol.com.

: Question 1/21/01: How many teams do you think will go under the bar efficiently? Over the bar?

Employing the technology utilized to climb onto the "puck" two years ago will probably allow you to go under the rail.

We've got our '99 robot, TKO running. It's interesting to see how it runs on the bridge and how it absolutely tears up the 4x6 under the fence.

We ran over the boards only a few times and splinters were flying.

Ah yes, I remember TKO's tracks very well. Seems like they chewed a few splinters off our little wooden bot body too in 99. That was definitely not a bot to argue with! Can't wait to see what Kokomo comes up with this year.

the question is not if we make splinters, but how much?! though i do suggest you quote me on this one...

TEAMS WHO GO UNDER THE BAR ARE GODS.
