Will 3ds Max 2009 run on "regular" Windows XP?

Is anyone running 3ds Max 2009 "regular" Windows XP?

Autodesk says it requires XP Professional or Vista: System Requirements

By "Regular" i'm guessing you mean Windows Home Edition. I don't think I've seen it run on anything other then Windows Professinal.

I thought we used to run it on just XP home edition -- but I might be wrong. Might be worth downloading the free 30 day trial version to see if it works. If not, you're not out anything except the download time.

ummm it should but i haven't gotton the program yet.... i really want it but i guess they haven't sent it our way
