Dean makes the news again

Dean Kamen has made the news again with his new electric car. See Fox News report:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,449303,00.html

It combines a Stirling engine that powers the features that normally would drain power from the battery, including the defroster and heater, leaving the battery primarily for propulsion.

Re: Dean makes the news again

So sometime in the last week (don't quite remember when), I was driving on the Mass Pike and passed an awfully similar car with a NH plate going pretty slow. Hmmm...

Pretty nifty car, though.

As W.C. Fields is rumored to have said, "what a revolting development."

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
