phew! (is ANYONE doing horizontal?)

Now that we have what looks like a pretty good balancing mechanism, vertical is much easier for us. We did have fun testing out horizontal possibilities though... becca : Point blank: : You have to tip over TWO goals in order to get TWO large balls to balance on the sides, or develop some method for your robot to hold the vertical goal on one cover to make a flat surface (a horizontal goal settled on the ground has no way of holding the large ball) : Two on top of two goals, or two on the side of two goals pushed together.. : Vertical much more easier, efficient... i don't know.. more logical to me.. many less mechanisms.. same end result.. (also a time saver i would perceive) |
