I know that last year, the original AHL specifically said fasteners could be used for fastening only. But, at some point during the season, they removed this restriction. I don't see any sort of restriction saying that fasteners can only be used for fastening this year, i.e. they would be able to be used as a pivot point, etc. I could just be overlooking something in the rules, so don't quote me on this just yet...
