FIRST IRC Chat

Other on team #639, Red B^2, from Ithaca High School and Cornell University. I am thinking of starting up a FIRST IRC chat room on a friendly IRC server, but I wanted to check here for opinions first. Do you think this is a good idea? I don't think it would take anything away from these forums, but it would allow FIRST people to chat casually in real time. Please post opinions.
