I like the concept of a magnet.

Also fish = feminity?

Also does anyone know the scale of the pull down ramp in FTC this year? Is it 34 degrees?

Re: Game Hint #1

Ok, here's a new angle:

The pattern of dots on the moonfish reminds me of dots on dice (Potential game piece).

I was looking at Dave's signatures and noticed his comments went up to 6, correlating with the number of sides on dice, and seemed to favor 4, 5 and 6. This would be a nice use of the camera for pattern and/or dot recognition. And keeping with the "fishing" concept, lets play "ship captain and crew", a dice game that requires you to get a 6, 5 and 4 in that order. Maybe we could use the camera to figure out how to turn the dice to the right orientation and then place them on a "ship" which we could then fill with "fish" (Or something along those lines).

Another dice game that 4, 5 and 6 are important in is "Cee-lo". (Derived from the Chinese game "strung flowers") The moonfish is a Hawaiian food and strung flowers are known as a lei (You know, those flower necklaces) which keeps with the Hawaiian theme.

Re: Game Hint #1

Here's further explanation:

In the "Ship, captain and crew" game a 6 relates to the ship, a 5 relates to the captain, and a 4 refers to the crew.

I've been running over Dave's signatures looking for more ways to relate it to the "ship, captain and crew" game. This caught my eye:

Quote:
2. To the six, you give me my fix.
At first it seemed as nonsensical as the others, but, looking up "fix" I discovered it is actually a term that refers to an area of a ship where cargo is stowed.

So, translated, Dave's statement could mean something like: "When you get a 6, you get your ship".

Also, with this statement:

Quote:
6. For the six: your integrity does transfix.
Six could refer back to the "ship", and integrity could mean it doesn't leak.

For this:

Quote:
1. To the five, you keep me alive.
Five could refer to the captain, who keeps his crew alive.

And:

Quote:
4. To the four, give it some more.
Could refer to the crew (A four) loading up the ship.

My friend just came up with this one: Dreamworks! Remember the guy on the moon fishing? I don't know, but just putting it out there. (Btw, I am aware of all the other theories so I will not post them. Yes, all 17 pages)

There was a movie around when Dave was a kid, "With six you get eggroll".

Excellent interpretation! If you didn't know other posts have related the hint to a multitude of card games but I think this one hits the nail on the head.

Lightbulb Re: Game Hint #1

I'm not sure if this was mentioned or not, so yeah.

But, um, with the new control system and all that there is a camera (I think)
that can be used, and I think it was mentioned that it can be used to
track colors, such as the color blue (it was mentioned--or I lost my mind for those 30 sec.),so could that factor into it?

Like, it's not the fish exactly, but where the fish swims, which as mentioned
is like deep sea or something.

My input for the day...I find it fun to read some of the ideas/thoughts,
but I really think that its not too deep of a clue, yah know?

Gosh, life'd be easier if we could just play 20 questions to figure out
what the game is.

--a girl with her heart on her sleeve, and a camera on the blue--

If this hasn't already been said...

the text is only a reflection of a plate that talks about the fish...

something about it's body and other such things.

If this has been said, i'm sorry for posting it again.
