robot no more...

Coach on team #419, Rambots, from UMass Boston / BC High and NONE AT THE MOMENT! .

we were bored so we gave the motors a sprocket ratio of 1:4 to the wheels, running the drills at high gear. Given that, we also gave it some wings....

so we took it outside and gave it a small boost to get over its starting torque requirement but as soon as it gained enough speed, it flew off the ground and we have never seen it since....

anyone else have any problems like this?

Anton. fear not, I saw your bot heading over connecticut this morning. It was leading a flock of geesse north towards canada.
Is this where your regional is?. Your bot may have a problem crossing the borders if it does not have its passport with it.
If it starts to head south then you probably will find it in Florida assuming it follows the coast.
If I see it do you want team 237 to shoot it down and send the bits back to you.......

Don't even ask what happened to our Turbine prototype... We're short one driver candidate too...
if anyone sees a kid wearing flight goggles walking around aimlessly in florida, point him our way...
