Ah, but are they in PWM outputs 1 and 2? Several teams have mistakenly plugged their speed controller cables into Relay or Digital I/O pins instead.

They should be connected to the widely-spaced connectors having white friction-fit connector things at their sides. They should not be connected to anything that looks like the IFI system's PWM outputs.
