how to install windriver!!

hey everyone. Ive tried to install windriver on my vista computer. It doesnt allow me to install it in the program files because theres a space between Program and Files... so i installed directly onto the C drive. I cant seem to get it running whatsoever

It is imperative that you install the Wind River stuff into c:\windriver (the default location). The updates that have been released so far assume this location and do not allow you to change it. Yes, this is a major pain if you don't have that much space on your C: drive or want to place it somewhere else for any reason.

I had some issues installing on Vista x64. If you're running a 64bit machine I suggest you install it in a virtual machine.

If you're running on x86 then just follow the directions in the FIRST documents, and you should be fine.

I have it running under vista x64, no problems installing and it is under c:\windriver

I have been running it since the beginning of the Bete Test period and have had no problems

I just posted a thread about it, i am following the instructions on FIRSTS Manual, and The LAC that it has automaticly is wrong?
