Our Balls Are Bigger... (like the CFL)
Posted by Devin Mahesh at 2/2/2001 7:59 PM EST
Student on team #188, Blizzard, from Woburn Collegiate Institute and Ontario Power Generation. From what I have been seeing there is a lack of big ball picking up taking place. There is talk about balancing, small balls, and drive systems but not all that much about big balls. My thoughts go back to what Raul on Wildstang mentioned to be their ideal partners: so how many big ball picker uppers are there? And how many robots will do the task well? Then again maybe it is just being taken for granted and the lack of posts referring to big balls is unintentional. Those are a big 10 points though… especially when multiplied. |
