testing telemetry at competition
Reference this thread, and please forgive my ignorance of all matters RC.
Is running off tether in the pits a non-issue with the new control system or is that expected to still be a requirement? |

Re: testing telemetry at competition
Seeing as 18 robots can be driven on an overdrive field, it probably is not a problem but I expect First to keep the rule as to ensure security.

In conversations with people involved with the development process last year they said that not only would running on tether be required anywhere except on the field, but they would be able to detect such activity and pinpoint its location within feet. That was, however,an informal conversation and a lot can change in nine months. We'll know for sure in a couple of days. |
