web file manager
Hey CD,
I am looking for a web based file manager (and upload manager) for my team's website. I know I could just make everyone use FTP, but this promises to be more fun. I already tried a nice php script called "FileThingy," (http://www.solitude.dk/filethingie/) but am dissapointed in it's 8mb max file upload limit. I know this is due to a max_file_size imposed by my shared host, but couldn't we get around that by chunking the file, and posting the chunks one after the other using javascript? I emailed the people who make the following product (http://www.afian.com/), asking for reduced/free licenses, but would like to know if anybody has another suggestion! Does anybody know of a free, simple file manager script with unlimited upload size? |
