Need the magic smoke

Engineer on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central High School and Delphi Interior Systems. In Reply to: We let the smoke out Posted by Eric Reed on 2/4/2001 2:25 PM EST: I think the drill motors might be fine only if a little bit of the magic smoke leaked out. If you can, make sure you collect it next time and put it back in the can.  By the sounds of it, you weren't able to collect it. In this case, I would replace the motor. Mike C. |
