Smile Question on the Dimension of the Robot

We had a discuess in class today, If it was ok to have a mechanism that would extend out of the inside of the robot when the match starts. Would that be valiating a rule?

psst it says you have to stay within the 28"x38"x60" limit

Yes, no matter when in the match or before it you cannot go outside the maximum sizes - 28X38X60
